We made it to spring... and we are all smiles.

Time to start those spring seedlings. Most spring crops prefer to be planted directly in the ground. Leaf lettuce isn't picky though, starting it indoors.
Trying to get out and re-acquaint with the sunshine. Kids like looking for bugs coming back to life under the rocks.

Ground is thawing and cracking. Yes, I have been checking the garden dirt often. We're going to plant as soon as thawed and dried. (will hopefully be covering it this weekend to keep dry from a coming storm.
