I was NOT planning on taking another blogging vacation as I did last winter, but we aren't the One directing our daily steps are we.
Here's the thing..... looking at a computer started making me dizzy. Yep, call me crazy but it happened. In more possibly non-interesting detail- for the first time in my life, at the ripe old age of 36, I started getting migraines.... more specifically vestibular migraines (that's apparently a migraine that messes with your vestibular system or inner ear). I first noticed it when I was reading to the kids, after a few books the room would be spinning. Made me feel like I was riding the Gravitron except AC/DC wasn't playing and I wasn't contemplating turning upside down on my rolley padded mat.

I actually considered Vlogging (instead of typing, hoping for less screen staring time).... but the attempt was highjacked by much more entertaining talent (true story)-
I acquired a few other health problems BUT will say that making some changes to my routine I seem to be doing better. I wanted to avoid medication if possible and so far my endeavors are working! (Praise God!)
Currently the dizziness is much more under control; so the plan is to start writing again.
And just in time!
Spring is here and new 'farm' goals are in place. We hope to build a barn this year, possibly keep our own swine stock to raise our own piglets, add meat ducks to our livestock, add more laying hens and grow more vegetables than ever. The short term goal is to grow/raise up to 50% of our food.
So as you see, lots of good things lie ahead. Just bear with me as I learn to look at a computer again and type. :)

Last note:
~One part of my 'self heal' was to take on a challenging exercise program. It HAS been challenging and effective (along with some diet changes) in reducing the vestibular migraines and helping me feel better overall.
See how well I feel after this workout (I am the one in the yellow shirt)-
:)
