MTV Cribs: The Pullet Chalet

Howdy Hi!  I'm Penny...

and I'm Rooster (reminder that I am NOT a boy)...

<Enter>  some catchy jingle that I don't have time to search for or embed-
and welcome to our crib

Our Pullet Chalet was built by these two workers-

After the female built us, we will say to be polite, a very humble beginning structure.... we hired the male to fully design and build us this one.  We did allow the female to help with stapling chicken wire but only with the male's supervision.  Anyway, we are very happy with his design and work.
Our Chalet has many lovely features:
A private yard-

A raisable ladder for security in our private quarters-

Two nesting boxes-

A small side door for access to the nesting boxes-

One side of the roof opens to allow our maid to come in and clean.

Though our Chalet is close to perfect we have a couple work orders still in process.  Such as a roost to sleep on, hanging our waterer and feeder so they are not sitting on the ground, an access door to our private yard so we can run in and out free range during the day, wheels so we (the coop) can be chauffeured around to different spot to drop our 'blessings' on the grass and a mounted rifle to take out this guy who sits and watches us.

Creep.
It seems he comes to visit our roof top often (or so that is what the writer of this segment thinks, are these poo drops hawk size? maybe too small?)

So that concludes the tour of our crib.  Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to wipe your feet on the way out.
